We are Greg and Sandi Cooper and we have been breeding mini dachshunds since 2004, specifically for temperament and conformation. We breed all coats and colors except for brindle, and our dogs generally weigh 6.5-9 pounds. All of our dogs are part of the family, and spend a great deal of time in the home with us. They are friendly and outgoing, and well socialized to people of all ages, including small children. They also and get along well with other dogs. In 2011 we put up a brand new building which we call "The Castle". The Castle has a concrete floor with a 32" block stem wall with a 2x6 construction shed on top of that wall. There are six rooms along with a shower, sink, dish washer, and grooming table. The building is fully insulated (for our mild Arizona winters) and cooled (for our hot Arizona summers). We also have a nursery room which is part of the main house.
Our puppies typically run from $300-$500, though there may be exceptions. If you are planning to breed or show, we will register the dogs upon request for a $25 fee with the exception of pups from Heidi, Ginger, Smokey, and Isabella. Although they are pure AKC mini dachshunds, the kennel we got them from had exceeded their limit of registrations so we cannot obtain papers for them or their offspring.
We now accept all major credit cards.
